This month marks the holiday of Keryth’rina, (or, in common, in memoriam), the Elven holiday to reflect on the fall of the ancient elven kingdom and the eventual division of Sylvan, Quinarian, and Ilythiiri. Candles are lit in memory of those deaths and for all subjects that have passed on because of war and conflict.
The last few months have had a lot of causalities not of the heroic variety. Men, women, and children around the proper have been slain and though many would say that we feel we are above those people, I would ask you Travance to light a candle in memory of those who died that we could not save, that possibly gave us more time to solve the issue by losing their lives. They deserve recognition because no matter how dangerous Travance may be, they remain and help us keep our barony running.
We know there are new light clergy in town that we have not been able to properly meet. If you are new and looking to make ties with others, please reach out! Honestly, I love speaking with followers of all faiths. If you ever need assistance, you can find it.
As always, The United Churches of Light will be offering several congregations this feast.
All who are willing to be respectful to the Gods of Light and the others in attendance are welcome to attend. All light clergy are welcome to speak at mass and, if time permits, others will be allowed to speak as well so long as they remain on topic and respectful.

NPC of the Month
Chris Langevin as the Cheveyo Bone Reader
Chris was spot on as his shaman this event. His ability to quickly “read” bones and instantly come up with information relating to the players interacting with him was nothing short of amazing. His emotional response to learning of the Elk’s death was felt by all who witnessed it, and overall his portrayal of a tribal wise man was quite convincing.
An honorable mention goes to everyone who played the Elk. They ran around camp for hours each in a heavy and cumbersome costume, despite the foot of snow on the ground, and their interactions with players really made a lot of people’s events.
