With the late planting of the crops, the Gaian festival of Springtide will be occurring during the feast this weekend!
A holiday that can be appreciated by anyone, Springtide is the celebration of all the arduous work the people of the land have been doing the last couple of moons and welcoming the fruits of Spring now that the last of Winter’s chill is passing by.
The most prominent tradition of this holiday I would encourage anyone to try: If you have an excess of things, items that you no longer use, stacks of receipts for goods that just gather, or scrolls and other baubles you can create that just start to pile up, give them to someone who can use it or needs it more than you clearly do.
If you happen upon any blossoms that have lost their way from the trees, try to collect them and offer them to those around you as flowers are a staple of Springtide celebrations. If there’s any druids who have an excess of foliage to offer, I’d encourage that as well.
Gothi Caldor will be performing cleansing rites for the buildings within the proper this feast. If you do not want this Gaian blessing done to your building, please let him know privately by letter. He offers any Gaians or those interested in the faith may join him if they like. You may contact him by letter or meet with him at his midnight mass by the Kaladonia Statehouse (near anyone’ll offer directions)
