Hail, adventurers!
The Kormyrian Royal Navy is in need of YOU!
The seas of Arawyn are a wild, strange place! Too many thieves, monsters, and other villains lurk in the untamed waters, and we need stalwart fighters, brilliant minds, and brave hearts to make the oceans safe for the commonfolk.
Not a sailor of any kind? Have no fear! Even if you have never set foot on a ship before, the Fleet has need of whatever talents you may possess. Of course, a marksman's knack for gunplay, or a shaman's water magicks have an obvious merit; but the simple priest may ease the pain of our fighters after a battle, or steel their resolve before a storm approaches. The scholar might improve the organization of our rationing so that we make more efficient use of our resources, or they may plot the safest or swiftest route to the next destination. Good Citizens of Kormyre, do not dismiss your abilities before you even give them a try!
If you should wish to become a proper sailor in addition to your personal skills, we will, of course, provide the appropriate training at no cost; however, diversity is completely invaluable to us, so we will not, by any means, force anyone to take on the mariner's mantle, no matter how long you sail with us.
So if you wish to serve a greater purpose, if your soul is horizon bound, or if you just need steady work, send a missive to the Recruitment Station in Port Valandra (PM me), or simply find Commodore Owen Piper at a Baronial Feast and we will place you in the appropriate channels. If he is unavailable for whatever reason, contact Lord Admiral Aleister Tartaros.
