[Posted in various parts of the Barony near the camp of the Burning Sun]
To the leader of the group known as The Burning Sun,
I, Ephrem, Priest of Valos and Primus of the Church of Light in Travance,
do hearby make challenge of one-on-one combat at the next moon.
Let the combat be in the form of a debate
and the weapons be the words and ideas of our disparate theologies.
Resolution for the affirmative and the negative and the rules governing the debate to be agreed upon by both parties.
As to location, I am willing to stand within your camp for said event. The time can be set after agreeing to the rules of engagement.

And when logic and reason fail you, as they do often do in regards to such blatant jackassery, let me be the first to offer you claw in lieu of handshake and fang in place of word. Though Father Ephrem may believe that you have a conscience hidden inside of you that might respond to debate, I do not, for I have spoken with you several times. I can smell the giddy cruelty on you, and I can sense your stubbornness to ever so much as glance outside of your pathetic box of belief.
When I finally sink my teeth into your throat and feel your life spill over them, you can see for yourself what salvation awaits you.
I will enjoy watching you die.

We are interested to see you fight priest. Be wary, they show no honor, and will facade their violations as holy and just. Bring others with you, we will accompany you if we wish in the moment. It is our belief however you will fail however.
It would please us greatly to see you succeed. Don't get cut.

What wasteful sentiment.
Let us debate your right to live.
No,
You're wasting time, Ephram.
Best arrest me now,
I'm going killing.

You know, for people trying to claim the moral high ground, there's a lot of murder in the interpretation.

If I may be so bold to say, many of you suggest open conflict, whereas you will turn the masses to martyrdom if blood is shed at first attempt. I wholly agree with the challange of debate. Win over the hearts and minds of the public, and show them the corruption behind the burning sun. If worst comes to worst, then blades shall be drawn, but at all costs we must attempt this without violence first.

Kraden,
You need to learn to read more. This wont be saved with tongue and pen.
Smart men know when to draw a sword, rather then hug a knife.

Moostrav, reading is always open to interpretation. Perhaps you are correct, perhaps you are wrong. I say its best to deal with this conflict personally and upfront with the burning sun, experience creates a wiser man than paper-guided judgement. If my sword needs to be drawn it shall be known, otherwise I will do so whole heartidly not to if possible.

Nalick,
We shall see what Travance requires us to be, as there is a time to be humble, and a time to be bold.
Be humble and carry a long sword friend.

Kraden,
What you fail to understand is that WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE PERSONALLY AND IN THE FRONT OF IT. THE VARY NATURE OF A ZEALOT IS TO FUNCTION WITHOUT REASON.
How do you plan to reason with a being that cannot comprehend the notion.
Nalick,
Your letting your position go to your head boy, we care not of your title or status; nor can you use them as any means of intimidation when dealing with us. We comfortably say that your god is repulsive, arrogant, and lacks the very tenants they stand for. It's followers fallow because they think pledging themselves to some wizard of love means they hold the moral high ground. It makes you feel good, your faith is hard to test because in the idiotic public eye you stand as your patron. Now, now that someone with such a low and pitiful self of steam has risen in ranks; because he was well liked and not due to merit, you think yourself what? Above the normal thrall, or as high as your bloody love wizard. We care not for Squires, and most knights are foolish; you can flaunt your title all you want, its not buying you gravel in a quarry.

I stand with Nalik, & Kraden.
We should lead by example and bestow due judgement to this matter and all situations.
The innocent may have been surgically tampered with.
The innocent may have been mind-controlled.
The innocent may make up most or all of the Blazing Sun.
For the innocent and what is right we should speak with them and not strike them.
Let's do what is right and not be zealous ourselves to committing such wicked actions.
The sword isn't necessary or correct

Let it be known,
On the evening of the 9th of February, before an assembly of commons and peers, Father Ephrem defeated the Cult Leader Michael Halligan of the Blazing Sun in a battle of faith and rhetoric. The conflict was resolved in less then thirty minutes.
