Information on the Blights Forthcoming was created by O. Nesterin (kuemanner)
The druids and rangers of the proper are working to compile the notes we have on the Blights. As soon as it is all together we will either tack notes here or make another list on this board. Any and all information we have is open to all so please if you have any questions we will gladly answer to the best of our abilities.

This is a copy of notes on Blights compiled by the Emerald Huntsman Caelvan Rneaith

ALL BLIGHTS
-Blights have many tiers
-They are either, Normal people augmented or cursed AND/OR tied to elemental things
+Elemental Blights can appear as elementals with warped features
-Most resemble undiscernible things, truly distorted groves, multitude of appendages, etc.
-Weak to Starlight, if there is another weakness it will be posted with the specifics

SKIN CHANGERS/WALKERS
-"Humans" that can change into animals
-The method before the Weave changed to change them back forcibly was to germinate the ground beneath them and keep it germinated for an extended amount of time, I have not fought enough after the Weave changed to make sure that this method works the same way, the rest of the notes should be the same.

-Human forms are easier to kill
-All Human forms have some sort of "trophy" or pelt that allows them to change, remove this and they can't change
-Groups are best way to handle Skinchangers
-Flying Skinchangers require "special teams" (Archers, people who can fly, etc.)

NIGHTSTALKERS -Confirmed in Drega'Mire by Annora
-Appear as a dark shadow with long limbs and claws
-Animalistic traits/features
+Spiny backs, Scales, etc.
-Travel in Packs
+Smallest seen: 3
+Largest seen: 10
-Tactical and Intelligent
+Can not speak, but CAN form strategy
-Hard to track
+Said once the trail is lost, YOU become the prey
-Fighting abilities/styles
+Instills fear often
+Sticks to shadows/woodline
+Kills prey by frightening it, prey runs until too tired to fight

GREY MERCY and ECHOES -Potentially due to a feeling by Khala Stormbringer in the Proper(could also be Bleakstones)
We have not run into these after the Weave changed so I do NOT know how accurate this information is, but I will post it here to help
-Derived from battlefield compassion
-Attracted to death
-Take the soul from a dying person so that the body doesn't benefit Arawyn by decaying into the natural cycle
-Fast and Stealthy
-Look like a woman from a distance
-Grey skin, cracked and dry skin
-Decomposing/killing Grey Mercies will return stolen energy, and release souls taken
-Accompanied by echoes
+Created by Grey Mercies
+"Husks" of people who were absorbed
+Usually will only say last statement before death
+Only keep the martial abilities of the dead
+Fragments of the souls in Echoes do NOT go to Eodra until Grey Mercy is defeated

HOARFROST
-Element: Ice
-Crystalline creatures with 6 appendages
-Strong, latch on to target and leeches head
-They feed off of heat
-Leaves pools of Gray ice
+Gray ice absorbs head
+A normal passerby is sapped of heat

Hunting these requires:
-Heat to bait them
-use a fire ritual; to dispel their lair
-can be destroyed in combat, be careful of strength

BLEAKSTONE -potential sighting by Liam Villein, Confirmed sighting in Ostcliff(Olivia Fairseas), Potentially by Khala Stormbringer in the Proper based off of the twigs dying, potential sighting in Sagewood by Ravyn Aeronwen
-Element: Earth
-Perversion of earth itself
-Takes energy from the earth
-Forms of large jagged rocks of different sizes and shapes
-Meld into the ground
+WAS able to move underground
+Kills plants/animals in/on the area

To find:
-Take a fragile plant, when placed on the ground and dies instantly you've found one

To fight:
-Weak to poison
-When burrowed they are immune to everything
-They will come out/attack when dispelled
-Not intelligent to talk to

GREYFLAME Rumored around the Proper/Albriar by Cara Easton
Element: Fire
-Most destructive
-Consume energy
+Example is burning a log releases energy into Arawyn's cycle. They take this energy
-Veracious: Need energy to maintain themselves
-Occur in groups
-Don't leave anything behind
-No real shape(gray fire)
-Grey embers = starving for energy

Fighting:
-Not tactical
-Seek only destruction from anything that burns
-Will pursue Threats before minor energy
-Easy to find
+Burnt our land
-Weak to poison
-Highly resistant to Fire

FELSTRIKES-confirmed sighting in Drega'Mire by Padraig O'Shaugnessy and Annora
-Element: Air/Lightning
-Most intelligent of elemental Blights
-Strong in magic
-Living Stormclouds
-Uses rituals to drain energy
+To use for more rituals
+Corrupt energy in sky for power
-Has greater forms
+Ones who cast the rites
+Can summon more of their kind

VERDANT RAVENGERS -confirmed sighting in Pendarvin heading to the Proper from Alexi
-Very Large
-Hide inside Trees
-Suck the life out of trees
-Strong jaws
-While in a tree cannot be harmed or detected
+Only way to force them out of the tree is to destroy the tree

PLAGUE VULTURES -confirmed sighting in Kaladonia by Garec Bonegranite, Seen by Tari in the Proper and surrounding areas
I personally do not have notes on plague vultures as of yet, this is what I can remember off the top of my head

-Formed by willingly casting a group ritual
+All members of the group are willing to turn themselves into plague vultures
-Are able to fly

I have not had a chance to organize this nicely as I intended but please review the notes I have left at the Scholar's Table of the various reports we have been gathering over the past few weeks.

docs.google.com/document/d/1XHhtxmfucll7...yHQ/edit?usp=sharing

If anymore reports come in, I will add to it and, if the people are lucky, there will be a reprieve so I may clean this up for the feast. I just wanted to make sure everyone who may not be there had the chance to review it so they could spread the word and remain vigilant.

Thank you Ilana.
I have updated the sightings portion of my posting. Though a few of the reports I couldn't tie to a certain Blight, all of these are very concerning.

Everyone please keep your wits about you and be careful. These things are extremely dangerous.

I've sent messages to my staff at the Sanctuary to keep an eye on the animals there and that none are to be released until this is taken care of. Although if anyone is in the area and can check on the Sanctuary for me I would appreciate it. Can't leave the Proper or I would do it myself.

Hey Boss,
So I was heres reading up on all this going on and I guess you'll see if I reach ya here. In the Sanctuary is fine right now, we did have some incidences just outside and they are getting uncomfortably close. We're moving all the Dangerous animals' things to the inner enclosures. I ain't gon be the reason we have some terrifying blighted dire butterfly breathing something fearch layen waist to the lands. Nope. All good here, the new Lady been beefin up defenses and such, don't look great but it look better then doing it ourselves I tell you what. Think i'tll be fine.
