Aspiring Adventurers was created by Naranbaatar Aiki (aikichi)

With the current turbulence of war and the increase of dangerous encounters, it is my wish to impart my knowledge and expertise on engaging your enemies, protecting what is important, safeguarding yourself to whatever that may assail you. If it is wished by many I can arrange classes so that I may have the privilege of bringing out the best in you I know you all to be capable of. However private instruction can also be arranged if you so desire it. Please if we arrange a time let us make sure we are diligent and on time. Also please write your interests here or through missive.

I shall take you up on both offers, amigo,
Whether private or public I know I am in dire need of proper martial training.
I shall send you a missive within a fortnight to discuss further,
But know you've piqued my interest.

I'd certainly welcome the opportunity to learn further combat skills. Depending on what times you give these lessons and where they take place, I should be more than happy to attend if I am able. If not, I shall contact you to see about private instruction.

Django,

I am glad I have your interest. Would enjoy working with you to further expand upon your skill set.

Alysaine,

I believe I have yet to have the privilege to formally meet you. The time I have in mind is between noon and feast. Dependent on fate wants to throw at us for the month. However I am planning to have workshop when members come into the barony at the town hall Friday night.

Hi Aiki,

I'm interested in honing my combat skills and would be happy to have additional instruction or a chance to spar under good conditions.

Is there a primary style you wanted to focus on?

I believe not, but I look forward to changing that. Depending on where you hold this I will do my best to join if I am able. (OOG: if it’s outside I won’t be able to during that time because of religious restrictions, but if so hopefully we can arrange a time for you to teach me otherwise.)

I'm always happy to learn new things! While I'm training in my magic bits, I do think I might need a little more practice with my shield work. Can't really protect myself and others with it if I don't know what I'm doing!

Simon,

Primarily I want to focus on situational awareness and reading the tide of combat.

When it comes to forms I can mentor many styles.

Donny,

I would be in need of a person to demonstrate with. However I will like if only my voice and teaching be prevelant as to not have too many chiefs in the camp. I often find others input to be disruptive.

Alysaine,

I have intentions of having everyone congregrate in the town hall building. Let me know if there are other concerns that need to be addressed.

Chesta,

I can impart my knowledge in combine magic arts and shield work so that it is a fluent method for you.

Despite my knowledge of the Kormyrian longsword, I train ever diligently. I most certainly am not a master in my craft and I would always look to bettering my skill. I appreciate the offer friend, and will gladly take whatever knowledge of the martial arts you wish to share.

Aiki,
Field awareness you say. I am certainly interested in that. Let me know how I can help you out.

To everyone else, Field awareness is best learned in groups, because it is more than yourself you need to track.

I would love to partake in your class whether it be public or private or even both. Physically i dont think i can do much but i can definatly help others!

Interests? Well i love studying. More specifically on things that go bump in the dark so maybe a lesson on strength and weakness of what you have encountered.

Just give me a time and place and i'll try my best to be there

Ebony,

I can ensure that we discuss leadership roles and excercises

Kraden,

You have grown a lot in the time you have been in Travance. I will do everything in my power to ensure your path to mastery.

Bengarion,

Of course! A heroic adventurer needs to learn to work with others and sometimes with their own self realize the role they play in the grand scheme of things.

Artemis,

Begin with changing the perception of "I don't think I can...." to "What can I do...." As such you have begun by declaring I will help others. From there ask yourself "What can I do to help the situation, person, or goal". Strategy will be discussed at length as well tactics on engagement of certain enemies.

I will be pushing to have this meet at Noon Saturday come next gathering. If anyone cannot make it I will be at the Winterdark Manor during the Ball. I can of course be tapped on for discussion then.

Your knowledge and expertise has benefitted many people many times over. I would be honored to learn from you better use of staff and pole arm; techniques that might be advantageous fighting either one or many opponents.

How long will this lesson be? I would very much like to attend, but I am a student in Professor Algrave's class, which generally goes from noon to one bell or a bit after.

Jericho,

Of course! Assistance would be appreciated in the form of demonstration

Father Ephrem,

I am humbled to hear that there are those benefiting from my tutelage. I will endeavor to import more knowledge on stave combat for sure.

Roygre,

It is no easy feat to be able to endure multiple assailants. Knowing how to control many opponents is a crucial lesson for this.

Alysaine,

I plan on having the discussions last for a half hour to forty five minutes and having pairs be split up afterwards for reviewing and demonstration.

It is safe to assume, then, well-studied participants would have the capacity to pass on what they've learned to those not able to attend?
