Hudson is a wee bitty too deid to pay ye. He poked a dead Beholder and was disintegrated by the wee babbie ones. Saw it with me own eyes. we gave the babbie gits a good kicking though.

I see, so The Hawk has fallen. I shall morne his loss, and carry on his legacy. I will need to contact his superiors, as well as next of kin. I will be at the Adventurer's guild until I can make proper arrangements for my travel if anyone needs me.

If I have the opportunity to before I have to depart, I will. Hudson died the way he lived, but ultimately forgot rule 368. Don't die to things already dead.

You know, in the excitement of the feast, I never got a solid number. He just told me he'd pay me when the job was done. Someone did mention hearing him say he owed me "Like 30 gold" when he told everyone about the beholder after feast though.
