W a r n i n g
Travanceans are being abducted into a constructed world by a creature known as Jasper, and forced to play a deadly game to escape whole.
Psions may be familiar with mindscapes, mentally constructed worlds. Powerful psionic creatures are capable of crafting particularly strong mindscapes.
Unfortunately, it appears we have encountered a kind of Schism, or true Psionic aberration. Jasper is a Syniscaper, capable of crafting a twisted place called a Wyrdscape.
Within Jasper's Wyrdscape, you wake up, and are forced to play a game in which you must explore his domain using silver keys to unlock doors he has hidden about. Some doors lead to treasure, some to challenges or monsters. Others lead to parts of him, which you can harm or destroy. Finally, there are a select few that return you to Arawyn. The object of the game is to get out before 3 hours pass, or you die. If you die in its Wyrdscape, you are returned to Arawyn, but Jasper will take something of yours. Perhaps a memory. Something precious and irreplaceable.
It feeds on emotions, and has particular need for its victims to have some hope, in order to prey on them.
Wielders of The Mind's Shadow,
Bind it, Claim its Soul As Your Vestige
if you can
All others-- destroy what pieces of it you can. We sent a heart of his, exhumed from a graveyard in his Wyrdscape, to Myrinod.

Through the combined efforts of over 20 Travanceans, the Syniscaper Jasper Julius Edgar has been slain. A piece of him is in Myrinod, but I cannot confirm the whereabouts of its other remnants if any exist.

The mouth was bound and consumed by certain Travancians in our group. I will let those who did that come forward if they so choose.

The hands were destroyed, which pushed him over the edge.

Cleric: "Do you have the dagger?"
Thief: "No."

Thief: "Yes..."
