Also if Zanthios finds a druid to help him, let us know whom they are so we can get them out of the way.

They are just rats. As a druid, I have taken a few living ones just cause they're so darn cute... but it's also nature for them to be killed and eaten. They are prey animals, and as such, are designed to be food for others. So carry on folks! Enjoy your rat-catching Tom! You were really good at it. Great aim with that rock!

Rats die, C'est la vie.

If there is gain to be made from their deaths, so be it. They are invasive, carry disease, breed like crazy, and can wreak havoc on food supplies and other necessities. if Moostrav needs the bodies, I say why not, better than having them run amok.

Besides, if we try to get rid of ALL the rats, it puts poor Tom out of a job, and who wants that?

Oh, and sod rats. They were a right pain in the arse in the trenches outside Trunrick, sort 'em all out.

I am impressed by this passionate debate on the morality of the feeding, slaying and eating of giant rats. Sadly, my education did not prepare me for the consideration of Vermin Rights and while I had not previously imagined that I would stoop to consuming them, I would never turn my nose up at a meal prepared by the fine chefs of Travance.

I look forward to seeing how this plays out, even if I must block out the dying squeals of hundreds of fat and happy giant rats before feasting upon them. In the meanwhile, I am content to revel in your madness.

I don't know, speaking to things peacefully and asking them to leave doesn't always work. You're still here writing after being asked to stop. If you won't, what makes you think a rat will, with their limited intelligence?

You may want to call this a lost battle. While no one likes to lose, you do harm to your credit and other stances by continuing to fight battles that you cannot win. It is admirable to be so firm in your beliefs, but too many battles fought at once with no allies will leave you weak on all fronts.
